On May 10, 2019, Faculty of Economics successfully organized the academic topic "Seminar - Start-up". The seminar was held in room A.710, University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh National University with more than 100 students from faculties inside and outside the school and an extremely exciting atmosphere.

The speakers at the seminar are: Mr. Vo Quang Huy: He is a former student of Economics and Public Management, Course 6; Since 2011, he has been Director of Viet Connection Company (Vietlink); Viet Connection is one of the reputable companies in the field of communications, especially in the fields of Public Relations (PR), Event Management (Event Management); Strategic partners are leading enterprises in Vietnam: HDBank, Vietjet Air, Satra. And Mr. Vo Hai: He is a former student of Economics and Public Management, Course 9; In 2011, he joined the team and won first prize in the Olympic Mac - Lenin and Ho Chi Minh Thought competition; In 2013, Anh graduated and started a business in many fields, including Marketing and Communications; In 2015, he was CEO at Central Real - this is one of the 5 largest distribution units of Vinhomes Group; 2018, CEO of WOW HOMES Joint Stock Company on real estate business. 

With many years of experience, in the field of communication and real estate, the guest speakers brought to the students many useful lessons, valuable skills and practical perspectives on starting a business. Some typical issues include: how to present ideas, the right direction for the project, issues surrounding the startup environment…

Furthermore, the speaker also shared many practical lessons to help students have the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences so they can make the right decisions on their future path.

Faculty of Economics hopes that the seminar will be truly useful for the participating students, contributing a significant part to the knowledge they are studying at university.
