Seminar: Ho Chi Minh City economy in the overall of Vietnam economy by Economist Phan Chanh Duong

On October 2nd, 2018, The Faculty of Economics organized a Seminar with topic: "Ho Chi Minh City Economy in the whole of Vietnam economy". The audiences of this seminar are all Doctoral candidates of Faculty of Economics. The speaker is professional economist Phan Chanh Duong - a former member of the 6th Group (Economic Advisory Board); He is also one of the founders of Phu My Hung urban area, Tan Thuan EPZ. Mr. Phan Chanh Duong is also a lecturer of the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program.

At the seminar, Mr. Phan Chanh Duong indicated the history and development of Ho Chi Minh City, indicated the economic development of the city in relation to the Vietnamese economy and its positive contributions in the economic development of the country.

In addition, professional economist Phan Chanh Duong also introduced the history of the formation and development of Phu My Hung urban area, Tan Thuan EPZ, which is a resounding success, contributing significantly to the economic development of Ho Chi Minh city.
