Seminar "Start up - entrepreneurial spirit and startup environment in the trend of international integration"

On April 5th, 2018, the Faculty of Economics organized the academic seminar "Start up - entrepreneurial spirit and startup environment in the trend of international integration". The seminar held in room A.811 attracted the participation of more than 50 students from all courses in an enthusiastic and vibrant atmosphere.

The speakers at the seminar were Master Le Trung Nam - Investment Director of Saigon Value Joint Stock Company and Master Dinh Van Binh - Director of nationwide SCF products for Corporate Customers of Techcombank. With many years of experience working in the field of economics and understanding of issues related to startups, both speakers provided students with new and valuable knowledge about startups. Key topics covered included the essential steps in the start-up process, opportunities and challenges, entrepreneurship in the era of the 4.0 Scientific and Technological Revolution, and, notably, the concept of IKIGAI - the search for one's own purpose.

The seminar didn't stop at theoretical knowledge, along with their own experiences, the two guest speakers shared practical experiences to give students a more general view of startups - an issue that has been creating attraction for young people.

The Faculty of Economics hopes that this seminar was truly beneficial for the participating students and that it provided them with a few more building blocks to create a stronger foundation for their future careers, whether they choose to become entrepreneurs or not.
