On 17th Nov, 2015, The Faculty of Economics organized a seminar with attendant of students and post – graduates on the topic “Global economic integration of Ho Chi Minh city”, presented by Mr Phan Chanh Duong.
At the seminar, Mr Phan Chanh Duong indicated the process on the economics development of Hochiminh City since it had two parts: Saigon and Gia Dinh. Mr Phan Chanh Duong also gave the conclusion that became the premises for the development of Hochiminh City.
Besides, Mr Phan Chanh Duong also provided some interesting information about the form of first Export Processing Zone of Vietnam (Tan Thuan export Processing Zone) as well as South Saigon Urban Area – the most modern urban area at that time.
