On November 19, 2020, The Faculty of Economics organized a seminar for 2nd year students majoring in Public Economics and Management of 2 classes: K19403 and K19403C with the topic: Differences in the working environment of public sector and private sector.
The seminar had the participation of Master Pham My Duyen - Deputy Head of Faculty of Economics and the academic advisors of the two classes, Master Nguyen Thi Thu Huong and Master Tran Thi Loc. The speaker of the seminar is Master Dinh Hoang Thang, currently Head of the Sales Department of Propertyguru Vietnam.
Mr. Dinh Hoang Thang used to work for Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (VINACONEX) before moving to other large corporations such as Ernst & Young and Intel. With that wealth of experience, Mr. Dinh Hoang Thang has brought students interesting perspectives on the basic differences in the working environment of the public and private sectors, helping them easily visualize and shape future directions. In addition, with experience in training, Mr. Dinh Hoang Thang also shares with you the skills that employers focus on in the current era. The students also had very lively discussions with the speaker around issues such as: how to determine which working environment is suitable for them, the right time to start a business or how to apply skills in the most effective way…
The discussion ended at 3:00 p.m. the same day with good impressions from the speaker and students. Besides, this is also the first step for longer-term cooperation in the future between Faculty of Economics and Propertyguru Vietnam.
