Under the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Faculty of Economics held the Graduation Thesis Defense ceremony for students of course 17 at 7:45 a.m. on June 1, 2021 in the online form.

The ceremony was attended by:

Dr. Pham My Duyen – Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Nga – Head of Economics Department

With lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and 37 students with two majors in Economics and Economics & Public Management, course 17, in honors, high-quality, general programs successfully completed the thesis. 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chi Hai gave the opening speech at the ceremony and informed the students about the lecturers of each council, about the regulations and procedures for the defense ceremony. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chi Hai reminded and encouraged students: “The most special defense ceremony in the 20-year history of the establishment and development of the Faculty of Economics, the graduation ceremony of course 17 took place online in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic spreading. Wishing the students of Course 17 the courage and confidence to overcome all pressures and challenges".

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Nga also congratulated the 17th grade students on completing their graduation thesis. At the same time, he also encouraged them before returning to each assigned Council.

Representing 37 students, student Tran Duc Trung, class 17403T expressed his feelings when defending his graduation thesis online. Trung also wished the students of course 17 to defend their thesis successfully.

After the opening ceremony, the teacher and the students joined 5 councils as assigned based on the Decision to establish graduation thesis defense councils for students of course 17 to conduct online defense.

The defense session for the students of the Faculty of Economics went well and ended at 13:10 on the same day. The Faculty of Economics hoped that the knowledge and skills, as well as the guidance of the lecturers of the Faculty of Economics in particular and the University of Economics and Law in general during the past 4 years of study will be a solid foundation for students to have a lot of success in the future.
