After 5 months of implementation, on the morning of April 1, 2021, the Faculty of Economics held an acceptance test of the scientific research topics for students in the academic year 2020 - 2021 at rooms B1.503 and B1.504.

From the initial 27 registered topics, students of the Faculty of Economics have completed 18 topics with good quality and guaranteed progress. The acceptance test took place in a serious atmosphere. Research groups had the opportunity to present diverse research ideas in many fields: economics, management, psychology... and received useful comments and contributions from the council to complete the topics.

Out of 18 accepted projects, 2 committees selected 7 best-done topics to nominate for the University-level Scientific Research Student Award, including:

- The topic "Study on the willingness to pay of people in Ho Chi Minh City for COVID-19 vaccine: access under uncertain choice" by a group of students Hoang Long, Ha Thu Huyen, Le Ngoc Phuong Trang, Huynh Thi Phuong Duy

- The topic "Human Capital and its impact on social labor productivity growth: an approach from Education - Health at the provincial level in Vietnam by the S-GMM method" by a group of students Dao Viet Thanh, Dang Tuong Phuong Duy, Ho Ngoc Quan

 - The topic "Physical self-destructive behavior of students at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City" by a group of students Dang Thi Thanh Truc, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tran, Pham Thi Be Vi, Phan Si Phuoc Trung, Dang Ngoc Thien

- The topic "Factors affecting the choice of livelihood model of Vietnamese farmers" by a group of students Tran Thi Bao Ngoc, Le Hoang Dat, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen

- The topic "Factors affecting the learning quality of students at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City during the COVID-19 pandemic" by a group of students Nguyen Thi Tuyet Bang, Dam Thi Thuy Nguyen, Truong Thi My Duyen, Le Minh Son, Ho Thi Thuy Na
