From June 30, 2022 to July 2, 2022, lecturers and students of the high-quality Economics class and the Honors Programs of Course 18 had a field trip in Da Nang - Hoi An - based on Decision No. 669/QD-ĐHKTL - marking the last internship trip of students for their four-year study journey at the Faculty of Economics.
With the attention of the Board of Directors of the University of Economics and Law, especially the Dean’s Committee of the Faculty of Economics, along with the support of local management levels as well as businesses in Da Nang and Hoi An, K18401C and K18401T students had the opportunity to visit many business models from businesses to typical craft villages here. Thanks to this, the students could better understand the economic activities in Da Nang and Hoi An tourist cities associated with maintaining and preserving traditional cultural values.
With the characteristic of being one of the five cities directly under the central government, Da Nang is considered an intersectional center, where there are opportunities to gather many different cultural flows due to its prime location along with the process of exploration and integration, thereby creating conditions to boost the economy, especially tourism economic potential. To understand more about the long-standing cultural tradition in Da Nang, at the beginning of the trip, the K18401C and K18401T students had the opportunity to visit the Danang Museum. Here, students were introduced about the history of development of Da Nang City through the periods, from the early period to the resistance war against foreign invaders and the period of integration development. Besides, the students were also introduced to the craft villages, containing the long-standing cultural quintessence here. Integrating in each historical story was a great lesson that helps students understand more about the personality and human life, especially the "sea gate culture" in Da Nang through the periods.

Through each of these locations, the students not only heard the business owners introduce their production and business activities, but also had the opportunity to be shared by artisans about the history, development and operation of craft traditional products, handicrafts village models. Furthermore, the students also had the chance to experience by directly participating in the manual production process.

It can be said that visiting handicraft villages is also one of the types of tourism currently attracting a large number of tourists, especially foreign tourists when traveling Da Nang - Hoi An, which creates conditions for visitors to experience, have the opportunity to stick with the unique culture of the land and people of the Central region.
