According to the training program framework of Cohort 18, The Faculty of Economics, University of Economics and Law, students are expected to graduate in August 2022 and gradually enter the official labor market. Understanding that students still have many worries and concerns about completing the Internship Report, and choosing a job as well as necessary skills, the academic advisor of class K18403C - Master Dinh Hoang Tuong Vi organized the seminar "METHODS FOR CHOOSING SUITABLE JOB AND JOB APPLICATION SKILLS".
The seminar started at 8:15 a.m. on November 20, 2021, with the participation of two guest speakers:
- Ms. Ha Thi Thu Hang - Deputy Analyst of TPS Securities Company - Alumni of Economics course 6.
- Ms. Bui Thi Anh Nguyet - Talent attraction specialist at Grove Company - Alumni of Economics course 12.
With the presence of the academic advisor and 33 students of class K18403C.
Content of the report
In the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, students entering their final year feel confused and have many questions. The guest speakers analyze and share the strengths and weaknesses of students as well as the challenges and advantages at the present time. From there, providing practical, objective and necessary advice to help students better understand the problems they are currently facing such as:
- How to complete your internship application and interview attitude to be selected?
- How do you understand your strengths and choose a suitable job?
- What skills do you need to prepare and how to orient yourself?
According to Ms. Hang Ha: "Students need to carefully research and understand the fundamental specialized knowledge about the job they want to pursue. Try taking reputable self-discovery tests like DISC to be able to choose the right job. The internship is a time to practice and teach students the first lessons." In addition, she also simulated a quick interview with a student who wanted to intern at the agency where she was working.
For Ms. Nguyet Anh: "In any place, students need to adapt quickly, be enthusiastic and responsible for their work, even the smallest things. Don't hesitate to ask when you don't understand clearly and always keep the spirit of learning." Through the Zoom screen, students continuously ask questions, share problems and become more confident when listening to close answers and practical experiences from their predecessors and academic advisors. Students have the opportunity to reconnect generations, understand the skills they need to prepare and make the right decisions. Master Dinh Hoang Tuong Vi thanked the guest speakers and the report ended at 11:30 the same day.
