Seminar “High-tech Agriculture and linkages in Agriculture”

Master Mai Le Thuy Van (lecturer of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development) connected and contacted to organize a topical talk with GC Food company representative Mr. Hoang Xuan Hau, Director of Sun and Wind Joint Stock Company (SUN & WIND) - A member company of GC Food Group and others, with knowledge revolving around the topics:

The specialized talk received great attention and enthusiasm from the students. It was a valuable opportunity for them to engage directly with the highest-ranking leader of a company in a specialized field they are exploring. This was particularly beneficial for economics students as they pursue their academic studies. It also served as an inspiration for young individuals interested in developing agriculture through modern machinery, equipment, and technology. Students arrived early to secure their seats. Because the talk took place during the second Covid-19 epidemic, there were many difficulties in organizing the meeting. But it did not deter the attendees' enthusiasm.. Moreover, everyone also complied with the 5K regulations of the Ministry of Health and responded to make the seminar more successful and better. The success of the seminar was not possible without the enthusiastic support of the organizing team as well as the masters and specialized lecturers.

The talk had the participation of Master Mai Le Thuy Van - Faculty of Economics; Mr. Hoang Xuan Hau, Director of Sun and Wind Joint Stock Company (SUN & WIND) - Member company of GC Food Group; and with the participation of more than 95 Economics students (including mass classes, high quality classes and talented bachelors)

As everyone expected, the opening was an introduction by the MC with a beautiful, inspiring and professional voice. According to the distance regulations of the Ministry of Health, attendees had to maintain physical distance and wear masks, which presented some challenges in communication. However, this did not dampen the anticipation and enthusiasm of the participants. First is Mr. Hoang Xuan Hau's presentation on agricultural models, transfer of linkages, Community-oriented sustainable agricultural business strategy. His insightful and novel knowledge foundations left the students enthralled. Next was the introduction of his knowledge about organic food, practical experience in organic agricultural production with his extremely fun and dynamic atmosphere... making everyone more excited. In addition, Mr. Hau posed supplementary questions, and correct answers were rewarded with his self-published book containing years of experience in applying technology in agricultural development. After very interesting presentations and full of practical information from the speakers, you can also discuss and ask questions surrounding the topic of discussion and be enthusiastically shared and answered by the speakers. .

In the middle of the talk, there was also a musical performance, the song "Little Things" by Mai Chi, a second-year student of the Faculty of Economics. Make everyone fall in love with her cute, gentle and sweet voice that captivates people's hearts. Finally, the event concluded with valuable insights and practical advice from Master Mai Le Thuy Van, a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development.

After the special talk came the part that everyone was waiting for. Participants, including guests, professors, and students, had the opportunity to visit a high-tech greenhouse model for growing netted cucumbers at the University of Economics and Law. Students ask and answer questions during the tour. The direct interaction with representatives from SUN & WIND Joint Stock Company provided the students not only with in-depth knowledge but also practical experience they rarely encounter.

Feelings from Nguyen Ngoc Hong Uyen - K19401: "After the meeting, I felt like I was able to discover more knowledge that I had never considered before, never thought about it, and didn't know why it was like that." " Tran Nguyen Minh Tam, also a K19401 student, said “During the meeting; the experts have provided me with a lot of new and interesting knowledge. I want to thank Ms. Van and the experts for organizing this meaningful meeting. The knowledge I gained here is rarely found accurately and beneficially on the internet."
