Seminar “Digital Transformation in the Tax Sector in Vietnam”

On December 25, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., Faculty of Economics organized a seminar for students in grades K19401C and K19403C on the subject of “Digital Transformation in the Tax Sector in Vietnam”

Seminar with the participation and presentation of

MA. Luong Dinh Huyen - Deputy Leader of the Communication and Assistance Team for Taxpayers at the Tax Department of District 3.

PhD. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Academic Advisor of class K19401C

MA. Tran Thi Loc - Academic Advisor of class K19403C

In this seminar, Mr. Luong Dinh Huyen discussed two key topics: (1) an overview of the Vietnamese tax sector, (2) the application of information technology in the tax sector.

Besides discussing professional matters concerning the tax sector, Mr. Luong Dinh Huyen also imparted his work-related experiences from the tax sector. He provided guidance on career opportunities as well as some orientation jobs in the tax sector to students.

During the seminar, students were given the chance to discuss further forthcoming concerns surrounding the digital transformation in taxation as well as within governmental administration as a whole. They also explored the essential preparatory steps required if they want to work in the tax sector. 

The seminar ended at 10:30 a.m. the same day.
