On December 13, 2024, the Faculty of Economics held a seminar on the development of undergraduate and graduate training programs for 2025 at the University of Economics and Law. To facilitate broader participation, the seminar was also conducted online.

This event served as a platform for the Faculty to gather feedback from key stakeholders—including employers, faculty members, alumni, and current students—regarding the structure and content of the 2025 academic programs across all levels.
Opening Remarks
Dr. Trịnh Hoàng Hồng Huệ, Vice Dean in charge, opened the seminar by presenting an overview of the current undergraduate and graduate curricula and outlining the necessary adjustments for the 2025 programs.
Following this, Dr. Phạm Mỹ Duyên, Head of the Department of Economics and Public Management, delivered a presentation titled “Updates to the Economics Training Program.” Her talk focused on essential revisions for the 2025 curriculum in Economics and Public Management, including:

Total credit requirements

Distribution of credits across knowledge blocks

Courses to be added per university directives

Adjustments to credit allocations for core subjects

Stakeholder Contributions
After the Faculty’s presentation, the discussion became lively with contributions from various stakeholders. Key suggestions included:

Alumni and faculty also engaged in candid discussions about the challenges of designing graduate curricula, highlighting the need to bridge theory and practice, update research agendas, and align academic projects with global trends.


The seminar concluded at 3:30 PM. The insights and recommendations shared by stakeholders provided a valuable foundation for the Faculty to refine and enhance its 2025 training programs across all academic levels.
