The number of research projects at all levels which lectures at Faculty of Economics worked as chairman or joined and  were accepted, assessed that were quite or higher was 30 projects (Ministry, University, Provincial). The Faculty has 100% of teaching staff involved in scientific research. Every year, lecturers of the Faculty have about 20 articles in domestic and overseas prestigious science journals.

Faculty of Economics has organized scientific conferences, as typical:

• Globalization and international economic integration of Vietnam;
• Measures to encourage and develop the private sector in the Major economic area in South of Vietnam.
• The scientific arguments and solutions primarily for the development of the Major economic area in South of Vietnam.
• The impact of the global financial crisis on Vietnam's economy;
• Vietnam economic thinking during the renovation and international integration;
• Development of high-quality human resources - an urgent need;
• Institutions and institutional role in economic development in Vietnam.
