Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics participate the course on researching and teaching Digital Agribusiness in Korea

On September 15, 2025, Seoul National University (SNU) hosted the opening of the short-term training program on Digital Agribusiness, with the participation of faculty members from the University of Economics and Law (UEL) and An Giang University (AGU). The program is part of the “Strengthening Higher Education in Agriculture at VNU-HCM” (SAHED Project), funded by KOICA.

From UEL’s Faculty of Economics, Dr. Trinh Hoang Hong Hue (Vice Dean) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang (M.A.) joined the delegation. The 12-day program featured lectures and workshops led by SNU professors on topics such as agricultural labor policies in Korea, the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its impact on agriculture, AI applications in education, entrepreneurship in the AI era, and curriculum development.

A highlight was the Action Plan workshop for the “Digital Agribusiness” program, which set out objectives, learning outcomes, and development directions for implementation in Vietnam.

The training enhanced teaching and research capacity in Digital Agribusiness, laying the foundation for curriculum improvement, the development of an English-taught “Digital Economy” program, and deeper academic collaboration between UEL’s Faculty of Economics and SNU’s Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

On behalf of the UEL delegation, Dr. Trinh Hoang Hong Hue expressed sincere appreciation to SNU and participating experts for their support.
