The speaker reviewed the main points in the global economy such as the Fed's interest rate hike, bank bankruptcies, factors contributing to the 2022-2023 economic crisis, and the responses of countries worldwide to face the recession, citing examples of the two leading economies, the United States, and China. From there, the speaker also made predictions about future economic trends and related them to the current state of Vietnam's economy in the first quarter of 2023, providing students with valuable knowledge about the overall economic situation and offering new perspectives from the viewpoint of economic experts.

After the presentations of the guest speakers, students participating in the seminar from class K20401C had discussions, questions, and debates with the speakers and academic advisors focusing on the issues mentioned in the report. This was probably the most exciting part for students as they had the opportunity to assess their knowledge absorption and reflect on it within the time limit. The students actively raised counterarguments and asked questions related to the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on the economic crisis, as well as how it would affect Vietnam's economy before the war. They also brought up topics related to the post-Covid-19 economy. Vietnam's hot issues in recent times such as the real estate market situation, attracting FDI into Vietnam, or public investment projects were also the issues of concern and questions for the speaker. In addition, Mr. Pham Thanh Vu and the academic advisor also shared insights related to the field of Economics, the role of subjects, especially macroeconomics, in the specific discipline, and the prospects after graduation. Mr. Vu also proposed opportunities for internships and practical training on knowledge and skills in the field of Economics within the VCSC corporate environment, as well as job opportunities after graduation for students in the securities sector.

The seminar was closely integrated with the training program, while also expanding opportunities for internships, practical training, and future employment for students of the department.
